For AHPRA registered clinicians adding gems to a dental practice.

Four days, built for dentists, oral health therapists, and registered hygienists. Twenty eight CPD hours, eight clinical modules, consent templates and indemnity wording included. The only dentally led tooth gem training in Australia that will hold up to an AHPRA audit.

Written by a clinician, for clinicians.

Most tooth gem courses assume a beauty studio context. This one does not. Every module is framed for a practice that already keeps dental records, already runs infection control, already documents consent. We pick up from there.

Seven clinical outcomes.

  1. 01 Integrate tooth gem services into a registered dental practice without insurance drama
  2. 02 Document placements to AHPRA standard, consent, notes, photography, retention schedule
  3. 03 Run a dental hygienist or OHT through a supervised gem add-on workflow
  4. 04 Handle contraindications, caries adjacent, cracked enamel, orthodontic retainers, with the right referral
  5. 05 Operate a satellite gem studio out of an existing clinic room, regulatory pathway included
  6. 06 Charge clinic-appropriate fees without pricing like a beauty studio
  7. 07 Claim CPD hours with audit-ready documentation we provide

Four days, eight modules, twenty eight CPD hours.

01

Clinical foundations

Enamel biology, composite chemistry, adhesion science. The theory other courses skip. Two assessed quizzes.

02

Consent and records

Consent forms that hold up to board review. Photographic records, retention, patient identifiers, cloud storage compliance.

03

Contraindication clinic

Caries adjacent, bruxism, recent orthodontics, dental anxiety. What to place, what to refer, what to refuse.

04

Placement, day one through three

Single stone, multi-stone, complex anatomy, placements over existing composite work. Six assessed placements across three days.

05

Supervising a hygienist or OHT

How to set up a gem add-on workflow inside your existing clinic, run by a hygienist under your supervision. Scope of practice clarified.

06

Satellite studio operations

Pricing as a clinic service, not a beauty service. Room setup, PPE, infection control standards above the hygienist baseline.

07

CPD documentation

Audit-ready CPD hours with activity codes. Every attendee walks out with a signed CPD record for the registration cycle.

08

Case review, live

Three real clinical cases reviewed live with Nhi and a guest dental specialist. Your own cases welcome, bring photos.

This is for you if

  • You are AHPRA registered, dentist, OHT, or hygienist.
  • You want to add gems as a clinic service without insurance or audit risk.
  • You need documented CPD hours that will hold up.
  • You want to train your hygienist to run the service day to day.

This is not for you if

  • You are not AHPRA registered, enrol on Beginner or Advanced.
  • You want a two day fast track, Beginner covers that.
  • You do not plan to integrate this into clinic workflow, Advanced is better value.
Nhi in clinical attire

Nhi plus a visiting dental specialist.

Nhi leads every day. The Professional tier also brings in a visiting dental specialist for the case review module, rotating between a restorative dentist, an oral medicine specialist, and an AHPRA medico-legal advisor across intakes.

You will leave with a clinical contact list, not just a certificate. The people in the room at Professional tier become the referral network for your gem work for the next decade.

I was the only dentist in the Professional cohort last October. Four days later I had consent templates, an indemnity wording letter, and a workflow my hygienist could run by week two.

The case review module was worth the whole fee. Nhi and the visiting specialist picked apart three of my real cases and I came out of it a safer clinician.

Frequently asked.

Who is this actually for? +

AHPRA registered dentists, oral health therapists, and dental hygienists. We verify registration on enrolment. The course assumes you already work in a clinic.

How many CPD hours? +

Twenty eight CPD hours across four days, claimable under clinical practice and professional development categories. Documentation is provided to each attendee and archived for audit response.

Is there a written assessment? +

Two quizzes across the four days, plus six assessed placements. Pass mark is eighty percent on each. Re-sit available at no cost within six months.

Can my hygienist come instead of me? +

Yes. Registered hygienists and OHTs enrol at the same price and receive the same CPD documentation. Dentists often send their hygienist first and enrol themselves the following quarter.

What about indemnity insurance? +

We supply a policy wording template accepted by the three major Australian dental indemnity providers. You still need to speak to your insurer, but the template removes most of the friction.

Payment plan? +

$3,950 full price. Four payments of $987.50, one per month leading up to intake. Clinic invoicing available.
