Locations

Sydney, Adelaide

Price

Seven outcomes, two days.

  1. 01 Set up a sterile, dental-grade workstation in your own space
  2. 02 Prep the tooth surface using the etch, rinse, dry protocol we teach every studio owner
  3. 03 Place round and princess-cut gems with confidence, straight, and on the right tooth third
  4. 04 Read a client consent form and spot the three contraindications that mean you do not place
  5. 05 Remove a gem cleanly with zero enamel damage
  6. 06 Price your first 20 placements without undercharging
  7. 07 Photograph the result so it looks like the work you did, not a blurry selfie

Two days, built for pace.

Day one, technique

  • 09:00 Arrivals, coffee, kit handover
  • 09:30 Theory block one: enamel, adhesion, why gems stay on
  • 11:00 Live demo on typodont, then your first placement on the typodont
  • 12:30 Lunch catered, tooth gem history walk through the studio
  • 13:30 Peer placements, partner up, two gems each way
  • 15:00 Removal practice and common mistake clinic
  • 16:30 Day one wrap, homework sheet for tomorrow

Day two, live clients and ops

  • 09:00 Review, Q and A on anything that sat uneasy overnight
  • 09:30 Live client placement, you observe Nhi work, then you place on a real client under supervision
  • 12:30 Lunch, studio ops walkthrough, insurance and consent forms
  • 13:30 Pricing, bookings, which supplier to buy from and which to avoid
  • 15:00 Marketing basics, what a first week on Instagram should look like
  • 16:00 Final assessment, two placements judged live
  • 17:00 Certificates, group photo, kit you take home

This is for you if

  • You have zero placement experience and want to start taking clients.
  • You run a lash, brow or beauty studio and want to add gems as a service.
  • You have watched Instagram tutorials and felt unsafe, rightly so.
  • You want a signed certificate, a starter kit, and a weekend that pays for itself in six placements.

This is not for you if

  • You are already placing gems and want to level up, go Advanced.
  • You are a registered dental professional chasing CPD, go Professional.
  • You want custom-designed pieces and complex layouts, Advanced covers that.
Nhi, founder and lead instructor

Nhi, dental clinician,
studio founder.

Nhi trained as a dental hygienist before founding Your Smileologist. Seven years of placements, two studios, and a clinical mindset that treats every gem as dental work first, jewellery second. Every Beginner cohort is led by Nhi herself, not a graduate assistant.

Ask her anything, including the questions you are embarrassed about. The studio is a no stupid questions room on training days.

I walked in with shaky hands and walked out with eight placements in my portfolio. Nhi does not rush you, and she will correct you the second your posture slips.

Booked my first paying client on the Monday after. The kit alone is worth half the course fee.

Maya L, lash studio owner, Parramatta

Frequently asked.

I have never placed a gem before. Is this really the right course? +

Yes. Beginner tier assumes zero experience. We teach posture, grip, and how to hold a dental mirror from the first hour. If you have done a one hour Instagram tutorial and felt lost, this course is built for you.

What do I take home? +

A full starter kit, etch, primer, flowable composite, curing light, a printed protocol deck, signed certificate, and the supplier sheet we use in our own studios.

Can I book clients the week after? +

Yes, and we recommend you do. Momentum matters. We spend the last hour on day two setting up your booking flow so Monday morning is ready to run.

Is there a payment plan? +

Yes. Full price is $1,450. Split into two payments of $725, first on enrolment, second two weeks before intake. No surcharge.

Do I get CPD points? +

Not on Beginner tier. CPD documentation is issued to AHPRA registered practitioners on the Professional tier only.

Next Sydney intake, May 17 to 18

Lock in a seat.

Six seats per intake. Deposit holds your place. Full price $1,450, or two payments of $725.
